Unlocking Subsurface Potential: A Journey with Ideon Technologies
We just wrapped up an incredible week with Ideon Technologies at The Brew Creek Centre outside of Whistler, BC. We learned so much from this dynamic and innovative leadership team that I felt compelled to share about the breakthrough work they are up to.
Ideon is revolutionizing the way the world unlocks the critical minerals necessary for the global transition to clean energy. Their innovative technology gives mining professionals geological certainty to confidently target, map, monitor, and unlock mineral deposits and other subsurface anomalies. In turn, this reduces the economic and environmental impacts of traditional techniques, such as drilling.
Unlocking Subsurface Potential
By harnessing a passive energy source from supernova explosions in space (the cosmic-ray muon), they provide x-ray-like visibility down to 1 km beneath the Earth’s surface. Their comprehensive Subsurface Intelligence Platform™ measures the directional intensity of muons as they penetrate the Earth, transforming this unique data into reliable 2D images and 3D models to help companies target and characterize resources more precisely.
It takes big minds and big hearts to be up to big stuff. As a group, they wanted to go deeper within themselves and with each other to see more of what is there in their team’s potential. We spent three full days diving deeper into listening and how we each create our own individual realities (basically the story we tell ourselves about the world and those around us.)
We were blown away by how quickly they up-leveled their communication with each other through seeing the limitations they unknowingly placed on themselves. This team accelerated a path toward alignment and trust. They laughed at themselves and each other, embracing the gift of feedback. They made fun of us, which is the ultimate consultant compliment, and felt a connection.
I am left with love and gratitude for who this leadership team is and for what they are up to. The environment in which we found ourselves at The Brew Creek Centre magnified and enhanced the possibility of the work we were doing to address how the Ideon team interacted with each other. The site was magical and intentional. This quote was on the wall in the dining room where we ate food grown on the property on a two-acre farm and cooked by our guest chef.
Ideon taking the time and resources to invest in discovering how they perceive and impact each other is a sign of an already high-performing team. They have the talent. They have the right team and it is growing. They have the breakthrough technologies and the best ideas. And now they have come together and begun to unlock the subsurface potential of their leadership.
How cool is that?
Cosmically yours,
I just wrapped up my last thoughts here in Austin, Texas, after witnessing a total eclipse of the sun.
